Molding Capabilities for Mechanical Pull Controls:

Overmolded Pull Control Conduit Fittings
Vertical Shuttle Molding
  • Overmolding components used for mechanical pull controls is a cost effective option for larger volumes when compared to a crimped metal fitting.  This is due to the overmolded component being created and attached in one operation using a multi-cavity tool with secondary finishing not being required.
  • Shuttle molding capabilities for pull control mounting flag brackets, body tubes, and threaded ends molded over conduit.
Overmolded T-handles used for Mechanical Pull Controls
  • Pull handles and knobs can be over-molded over metal rods, tubes, or directly over cable.
  • Capabilities for overmolded connectors for wire harnesses used on electronics applications.

Molded Parts used for Mechanical Controls & Electronics Applications
Horizontal Injection Molding

  • Panel components including gears, knobs, and face-plates.
  • Variety of products including electrical connectors, caps, and industrial spools.
  • Experience with wide range of materials including: ABS, acetal, acrylic, nylon, polypropylene, PVC, PBT, and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE).

Zinc Diecast Insert Molded Cable Fittings Used for Mechanical Pull Control Applications
Zinc Die-Casting

  • Cable end fittings including ball, barrel, clevis, and eye ends.
  • Cable fittings are overmolded over cable using ZAMAK 3 zinc diecast alloy.
  • Coiled cable available for support applications including hood support/assist cables for heavy truck.
